Spanish Culture Night at the Instituto Cervantes

Get ready for an evening packed with art, music, gastronomy, dance, Spanish language, books and fun, designed for all ages and interests. We've put together a diverse programme so you can find your ideal event.

The professional ham carver, Fidel Anton Blasco, will lead a full Iberian ham-cutting demonstration, inviting the audience to get up close and observe the traditional artisanal technique. Throughout the session, he will provide brief explanations about ham, covering the different types of Iberian ham, the various parts of the ham, and the essential tools used for a perfect cut. Additionally, Fidel will prepare a dish live, demonstrating plating and presentation, allowing attendees to appreciate both the craft and the gastronomy of this iconic product.
