Looking for a hike with a little bit of everything? The Maulin Mountain Loop from Crone Woods is your golden ticket to breathtaking views, forest magic, and an energizing challenge!Starting from the ever-popular Crone Woods car park, this trail kicks off beneath a canopy of towering Scots pine, larch, and spruce before leading you up through wild Wicklow woodland and onto the open slopes of Maulin Mountain. It’s a heart-pumping climb, but you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Powerscourt Waterfall, the Great Sugar Loaf, Glencree Valley, and even as far as Dublin Bay on a clear day.Highlights include:🌲 A mix of majestic forest types (tree lovers, take note!)🌊 Epic waterfall views from Ride Rock⛰️ Sweeping mountain scenery that’ll stop you in your tracks📸 Perfect photo ops around every cornerWhether you're chasing endorphins, snapping landscapes, or just soaking up the serenity, this loop is a forest-to-summit adventure you won’t forget.
