Join Vintage Youth for a special screening of their captivating performances "Wisdom Moves" and "The River of Now" and a surprise premiere.

Dance Theatre of Ireland invite you to join Vintage Youth Ensemble for a special screening of two live performance pieces: &quot;Wisdom Moves&quot; is a 30-minute reflection on lasting memories and formative experiences of the performers told through spoken word and movement to beautiful music. &quot;The River of Now&quot; is an inter-generational dance collaboration with the Dublin Youth Dance Company, that crosses the boundaries of age. There will also be a Premiere screening of their most recent project, completed online during lockdown.Join us afterward for an informal Post-Screening discussion with Members of the Cast and creators.Vintage Youth Ensemble is Dance Theatre of Ireland&#x27;s senior performance group, an open group of older adults who came together as an outgrowth of DTI&#x27;s Well-Dance for Seniors classes. Their desire to delve more deeply into the art of dance and performance led to the group&#x27;s formation, which has given live theatre performances since 2015, under the direction of Loretta Yurick and Robert Connor, DTI Artistic Directors.Dance Theatre of Ireland / Vintage Youth are grateful to be funded by The Arts Council, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, The Ireland Funds.
