Baggotonia Festival is an annual celebration of the community, history, arts, culture, entertainment and people - past, present and future – in the area emanating from Baggot Street Bridge - Dublin's once-upon-a-time Bohemian Quarter.  Baggotonia.

The much-loved and greatly attended Plein Air Painting on the banks of the Grand Canal Baggotonia, Dublin will take place again this year on Sunday 21 September from 10am to 2pm.The area along the canal and surrounding streets from Mount Street Bridge to Leeson Street Bridge will welcome Plein Air painters from across Ireland and internationally as they recreate the picturesque and historical views of Baggotonia. Come chat and admire their work.The painting Exhibition and Prize-giving ceremony takes place from 2pm to 4pm and will be generously supported by the Mespil Hotel.Competition winners receive a cash prize.
