A walk through the woods and dunes of Ards friary exploring the nature in the area

Ards Friary

<p>Starting at the carpark in Ards friary, we will walk a loop through the woods, exploring the plant life there and the woodlands role in filtering water before it reachs the sea.  We will emerge at a beach in Ards and finish back at the carpark.   There will be some rough ground so please bring appropriate footwear, raingear and a mask.  Meeting at 11am on Thursday the 19th of August.  Kindly supported by the Local Authorities water program.</p>
