A Short History of Drumcondra FC

<p>Charting the emergence of Drums at the end of the 19th Century.  Their withdrawal from football during the First World War and their re-emergence as a force in local and then national football from the 1920s onwards. </p><p>This talk by Gerard Farrell will chart the growth of the Drums to become one of Ireland&#x27;s most successful sides, their great rivalry with Shamrock Rovers, their European adventures and their eventual withdrawal from the League of Ireland in the 1970s.</p>
