A Short History of Drumcondra FC

<p>Charting the emergence of Drums at the end of the 19th Century.  Their withdrawal from football during the First World War and their re-emergence as a force in local and then national football from the 1920s onwards. </p><p>This talk by Gerard Farrell will chart the growth of the Drums to become one of Ireland's most successful sides, their great rivalry with Shamrock Rovers, their European adventures and their eventual withdrawal from the League of Ireland in the 1970s.</p>
