St. Patrick’s Park

In the Open/FAOIN SPÉIR is a new initiative created by the Arts Council of Ireland to kick start public engagement with our performers in the outdoors as we gradually emerge from a world pandemic. WhistleBlast Quartet launched the first In the Open/FAOIN SPÉIR concerts at Dublin City Council Civic Office Amphitheatre Wood Quay and Finglas Church/Axis Ballymun as part of Dublin City Council outdoor events.
All events are FREE but you need to book your tickets to ensure a place at these fun filled short concerts with music from James Bond to Prokofiev. Music for everyone and everybody is welcome. What a great way to hear live music for all the family!
WhistleBlast Quartet -Kenneth Edge (saxes and clarinets), Conor Linehan (piano), Oonagh Keogh (violin), and Mary Curran (french horn)- has devised extensive, unique outreach and performance programmes, rolled out all over Ireland, with a focus towards younger people, the wider community and their families. These fun filled concerts provide a great mix of live repertoire for everybody to enjoy.
This programme is funded by the Arts Council of Ireland and Dublin City Council Arts Office.

Booking for this event is unallocated. Standing will be assigned to you on arrival at the venue. Please bring your own chair or picnic rug if required/for your comfort. The use of face coverings is recommended for queuing and being brought to your audience area. Hand sanitiser will be provided for your use and performances will observe social distancing protocols. If you or any member of your party have had symptoms of COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to an event we would ask that you do not visit the venue and instead contact the Quartet through Eventbrite by email.
