✨From cúpla focal to fluent – ó thús go líofa✨VOICENOTES IN SPACE: How to Make a Podcast SpaceFest 2025 Workshop Series<h3>Dates: October 1st, 8th, and 22nd (feel free to join even if you missed the first week!)</h3>This workshop is for adults (daoine fásta) who are fluent in Irish or who only know a cúpla focal and want to grow their Gaeilge. We’ll mix English and Irish as needed!You’ll discover how easy it is to turn an idea into into a podcast, whether you want to share a story, stage a comedy sketch, or interview a friend.🎙️ Learn simple tips for recording &amp; shaping audio 🎙️ Explore creative podcast formats 🎙️ Find confidence in front of the mic (in Irish, English, or both!)At the end, participants will be invited to have their recordings launched online as part of SpaceFest 2025 🌠Facilitator: Muireann holds an MA in Interactive Media, a BA in Fine Art, and an Ard-Dioplóma in Scileanna Teilifíse. She has also trained with the BBC (BBC NI Learning, CBBC &amp; CBeebies).🌙 October1 — Blast-off: introductions, simple recording skills, and playful warm-ups🌙 October 8 — Orbit: experimenting with formats (story, poem, interview, sketch…)🌙 October 22 — Landing: polishing, sharing, and preparing for the festival launchSpaceFest is a Science Week festival supported by Research Ireland. Co-creating to express &amp; explore meaningful themes with adults, young people and children, (combining sculpture, drawing, print, sound, video &amp; interactive elements).
