My name is Augustina! These days I am called Adeola more than anything, which is another of my many names. It means Crown of Wealth, which is the aspiration and prayer of those who gave me the name. I love the energy it carries and how my life has changed since I remembered who I was, and my true nature.I started this journey i'd say from my earliest memory, of seeing my mother washing strips of bloody towels with her bare hands, drying them and using them again month after month due to money and comfort I guess.I have always been a curious child, asking the questions, and reading the books. If I can't get my answer, find another way to get it haha! So my facination about mestruation, the womb and anything related has always been there and it has led me to amazing places, discussions and discoveries.I made my first cloth pads around 13/14 years old after I found that disposables were pretty uncomfortable for me. I went down the rabbit hole of research, eventually leading me to make my own upcycled pads. With play, experiements, trial and error, I was able to make functional pads for me and before I knew it, friends and more. I am blessed and honoured to be a part of so many bleeding journeys until today.
