A Live and IN PERSON series of concerts taking place throughout October!Featuring some of Ireland’s finest professional musicians, over the years the band have accompanied many famous international jazzartists.Led by drummer Des Hopkins, they have had a long association with the Dublin Guinness brewery,as Ireland’s Original Guinness Jazz Band. They were sponsored by the company from 1986-2003.Ireland’s only professional band now playing in the Traditional Dixieland style.The Band have played at countless international Jazz festivals throughout Europe, and have been featured at every Cork Jazz festivalsince 1980.Des Hopkins Dixieland Jazz Band are in constant demand for corporate events, concerts, weddings, jazz, swing and art festivals.Presenting an amazing programme of the great music from the jazz age, ideal for dancing or listening.
