PARKING IS LIMITED SO PLEASE USE THE COMPLIMENTARY BUS PROVIDED.Light at night can have an impact on the natural world similar to that of climate change and is a known stressor for humans as well as wildlife. In this talk Brian Espey of Dark Sky Ireland and Trinity College Dublin will discuss the current state of the night-time environment in and around Dublin and the importance of protecting darkness for both our own well-being and that of the natural world.The talk will include the results of measurements of light pollution as seen from both ground and space which show the impact of Dublin on our night-time heritage. After the talk, the bus will return to The Square. Please do not book unless you are certain you will use it.</li><li>Meet at Glenasmole Community Centre at 19:15.
