The Big Romance

A chance to revisit the Irish/English shoegaze band’s classic 1991 record Loveless, ahead of their upcoming 3Arena show and on one of the city's best soundsystems.Second night due to demand: Tuesday October 28th at The Big Romance ; #21
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless (1991)
The definitive shoegaze classic album that redefined what a rock record could be arrived after an expensive elongated recording process that included 16 engineers , 19 studios and very nearly bankrupted Creation Records boss Alan McGee before he heard a note.Along with a LOUD playback of the album, we will be offering the context and insight that will answer questions like how Kevin Shields’ perfectionism lead him to both his Glide Guitar technique and a near mental breakdown. Why the album was recorded in mono? Why do the vocals sound like that? Loveless is the definition of a modern classic.-Become a paid member of the Nialler9 Patreon to get half priced tickets.
