Dublin Rape Crisis Centre’s We-Consent project is hosting a special International Women’s Day Gig to raise vital funds for Dublin Rape Crisis Centre on March 6th in Wigwam. We want to highlight and celebrate FLINTA (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, and Agender people) artists making waves in Ireland.

Sexual violence doesn’t discriminate by age, gender or sexuality. In Ireland, four in ten adults (40%) have experienced sexual violence at least once in their lifetime (CSO). Women experience disproportionately higher levels, with 52% affected compared to 28% of men. This is an epidemic - but it is one we have the power to change.

Culture, education and shared beliefs can either reinforce inequality or help dismantle it. Culture change happens through conversation, creativity and community. This event is an opportunity to gather, celebrate, reflect and amplify the voices of artists who are pushing that change forward.

Time: Doors from 6.30pm. Headliners kick off at 7pm sharp. Event will run until closing at 3am
