Join us for the ultimate creative experience at Tóch | Dig Closing Events, Phase 2, WORKSHOPS - where imagination meets innovation!
For the final event of Phase 2 there will be a series of free workshops hosted by Shane Hynan, Sheena Malone and Pamela de Brí.
Shane: Paper-making from peat
Make your own hand-made piece of paper from 100% peat, technique uses a mold and deckle to form sheets from soaked and pulped the peat fibres.
Sheena: Textile Weaving
Make a strip weaving wall hanging using fabric dyed with plants found in and around the Bog of Allen
Pamela: Introduction to Cyanotype Printing
Cyanotype is a simple 19th century photographic printing process that uses UV light or sunlight to create images of items placed on treated paper or fabric.
Each workshop will last approx. one hour. Participants can experience all three workshops and bring home what they make.
All materials are supplied. Light lunch provided. Places are limited so please let us know if you can't make it.
