Movement with Nature: Creative Dance Workshop with Linda Schirmer
A Creative Dance Workshop at Interface with Linda Schirmer
This workshop will be held primarily outdoors and rooted in connection with the natural environment. Guided by the principles of Laban Movement Analysis — exploring body, space, shape, and effort — participants are invited into structured yet open-ended movement explorations that deepen awareness of how their bodies relate to the world around them.
This workshop nurtures physical wellbeing, creativity and embodied awareness within a welcoming, inclusive open-air setting. Through guided and playful practices, participants are encouraged to rediscover the simple pleasure of moving and breathing, while cultivating greater sensitivity to their own bodies and the spaces they inhabit.
Open to adults of all backgrounds, no previous dance or movement experience is required. The workshop also offers inspiration and practical tools for those interested in movement, dance or interdisciplinary artistic practices, supporting artistic research through lived, embodied experience.
Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and bring their own food, snacks and drinking water, hot drinks will be provided.
