Cloughjordan Amphitheatre

Rooted in tradition yet boldly contemporary, Clare fuses Irish folk, blues, and global influences into a spellbinding live performance where folklore, language, and activism collide.A fearless and dynamic artist, Clare’s music is deeply tied to place and heritage, drawing from ancestral roots while embracing modern storytelling. A multi-instrumentalist (with over ten instruments under her belt), award-nominated songwriter, and internationally acclaimed performer, she has graced stages from Glastonbury to Mexico and Australia, captivating audiences with her electrifying energy and emotional depth. Her critically acclaimed debut album ranked among The Irish Times’ Top 5 Folk Albums of 2022, while projects like Tírdhreacha agus Fuaimdhreacha and Gormacha showcase her innovative approach to sound, language, and the natural world.Offstage, Clare is just as extraordinary — a cross-continental swimmer and black belt with multiple world medals — embodying the same strength and spirit that define her music. With a brand-new album arriving in Autumn 2026, Clare Sands continues to push boundaries and inspire. Don’t miss this unforgettable journey of rhythm, heritage, and heart.
