Sorcha Costello: An Intimate Acoustic RecitalExperience the soul of East Clare fiddle playing in its purest form. As part of the Skerries Trad Weekend, we are proud to present an intimate afternoon recital with Sorcha Costello, the 2021 TG4 Gradam Ceoil Young Musician of the Year.Hailing from a legendary musical dynasty in Tulla, Co. Clare, Sorcha’s playing is a masterclass in rhythm, swing, and "the lonesome touch." This special event takes place in a small, acoustic setting, allowing a limited audience to experience her music without the need for amplification—just the raw, beautiful resonance of the fiddle in a quiet room.This is a "must-attend" for fiddle players and lovers of traditional music alike. Given the limited capacity of this venue, early booking is highly recommended.
