Seán McKay will present a range of whiskeys from Achill Island Distillery, in Cruise's Bar and Restaurant, Ennis, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 19:30 sharp.
Achill Island Distillery is Ireland’s first island whiskey distillery, crafting distinctive Irish whiskeys on the rugged Atlantic coast of Achill Island since 2019. Family-run and rooted in tradition, the distillery has quickly built a reputation for characterful, coastal-inspired spirits.
Seán, son of founder John McKay, brings the story of the distillery to life through his passion for whiskey, heritage, and the unique spirit of Achill.
The distillery won Best Peated Irish Whiskey at the 2025 Irish Whiskey Awards, so we're delighted that Seán is travelling all the way to Ennis to present his whiskeys to us.
The ticket price includes at least 5 product samples. Tickets are open to the public but places are limited so please make sure you buy your ticket early to avoid disappointment.
