Rooted in the River

Rooted in the River

Overview

An Eco-Dance Theatre Exploration of the Corrib

As the Corrib River flows into Galway Bay, it connects communities and supports ecosystems. Join us for an afternoon of stories and impressions of the river imagined through dance theatre, featuring a cast of ten dancers. These are preview performances of a production hosted by the University of Galway School of English, Media & Creative Arts and the School of Natural Sciences. Lobby exhibits open 30 minutes before the performance begins, and the audience is invited to contribute to a public art and storytelling installation. The performance lasts approximately 45 minutes and will be followed by a nature walk along the river.

Lobby and art installation open at 12:30pm, with show at 1:00pm. The performance is free, but please pre-book tickets using the link provided.
