AE and Dublin's Latin Quarter: Golden Age Literary Walking Tour (FREE)

Overview

Encompassing sites in Ireland’s literary and cultural history. Part of the AE George Russell Summer School.

Meeting at Plunkett House, 84 Merrion Square at 11am.
Led by Réamonn Ó Ciaráin and Patrick O’Donnell, the walking tour will begin with a humorous group reenactment of the famous ‘Chin Angles’ cartoon by the entire group. The tour will encompass sites in Ireland’s literary and cultural history in Merrion Square and St. Stephen’s Green. Our annual ‘Shannonippi’ ritual blessing from combined source waters of the Mississippi and the Shannon rivers will occur before AE’s statue.

At the end of the tour, there will be an opportunity to take part in gentle, mindful yoga with an experienced instructor at the statue of Rabindranath Tagore in St. Stephen's Green.

Free and open to the public.
