An evening of fine music from E.M.S (Cavan Shoegaze), Lapdog (Louth art/alt-rock) and ULMA (Meath Post-Rock).

E.M.S

Even More So formed in August 2025, born from late-night rehearsals, shared influences, and a collective desire to create something that felt both heavy and honest. Blending the hazy textures of shoegaze with the raw drive of alternative rock and deeply personal lyricism, the band carved out a sound that is as immersive as it is powerful.

Lapdog

Lapdog is a 3-piece alt/art rock band, mixing elements of 90's alt-rock, post-punk and shoegaze among others, writing songs with driving rhythm, plucky guitar and bittersweet vocals. Inspired by groups like the Pixies, Pillow Queens and the Velvet Underground.

ULMA

ULMA are a 4-piece band from outside the pale. Composing both in English and Gaeilge, as well as interpolating lyrics and melody from the Irish Folk Corpus, ULMA fashion a sprawling web of harmony. Taking influences from Post-Rock, Trip-Hop, Traditional Irish and Doom music, ULMA adapt older pieces and weave a raucous tapestry of identity.
