The Old School House Kilskyre

As autumn approaches, we turn our attention from the challenges of a busy growing season to preparing the garden for winter and beyond. After a beautiful but difficult summer of hot sunshine, water restrictions and very little rain, our soils are still remarkably dry — a growing concern for anyone producing food.Join us at The Old School House with Colman Power as we reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and what we can learn from this season. We’ll look at winter growing, seed saving and preparation for the 2027 growing season, with plenty of practical ideas to take home and put into your own garden.Come and share experiences, learn from the season that’s been, and start planning for the one ahead.
