Ennis Whiskey Club - Whiskey Tasting Evening - September 2026

An event by the Ennis Whiskey Club...

Tony Ryan, Brand Ambassador with Dalcassian Wines and Spirits Ltd, will present a range of whiskeys from the Shed Distillery, in Cruise's Bar and Restaurant, Ennis, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 19:30 sharp.

Founded by drinks entrepreneur PJ Rigney, The Shed Distillery began distilling in 2014 and has developed a reputation for combining traditional Irish whiskey-making with an adventurous approach to grains, maturation and cask finishes.

At the heart of its whiskey range is Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, produced at the distillery using a distinctive mash bill that reflects The Shed’s willingness to explore and experiment while remaining firmly rooted in the Irish pot still tradition.

Dalcassian Wines & Spirits is one of Ireland’s leading independent premium drinks distributors and the company behind the distribution of Drumshanbo whiskeys in the Irish market.

Dalcassian and The Shed share a particularly close connection: Dalcassian was co-founded by PJ Rigney, who subsequently established The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo.

The ticket price includes at least 5 product samples. Tickets are open to the public but places are limited so please make sure you buy your ticket early to avoid disappointment.
