Let's talk Small Business in Ireland: Share, Ask & Connect

Overview

A networking event for entrepreneurs and people thinking about starting a business in Ireland — with real stories and open conversation.

About the Event

Thinking about starting your own business in Ireland? Already running one? Or simply curious about what it takes to build something of your own?

Join us for an informal community conversation with two entrepreneurs who have built their own businesses in Ireland — a tour guide and the owner of a dance studio.

They’ll share their real experiences: how they started, found their first clients, faced challenges and built their businesses along the way.

But this is not a one-way talk. Bring your questions, share your own experience or ideas, and connect with others on a similar journey.

No formal presentations. No “secret formula for success”. Just real stories, honest questions and a chance to meet people building their own path in Ireland.

The speakers

Katrin Van Krause is an entrepreneur and the co-founder and director of InDance Wellness & Dance Studio in Dublin. With more than a decade of experience in business, she has built a space where dance brings people together and helps them grow in confidence. She speaks about entrepreneurship, resilience, and building a business around human connection.

Junona Dikareva is a Dublin-based tour guide & the founder of DublinStory Tours., content creator and entrepreneur. She built her tourism business from the ground up, creating cultural experiences, tours and digital content for visitors and local communities.

With a background in PR, media and project management, Junona brings a creative and people-focused approach to entrepreneurship. She speaks about building a business from scratch, finding your audience, turning your expertise into a product, and creating meaningful connections with customers.

What to expect

Real Stories

Hear from two entrepreneurs who have built their own businesses in Ireland — a tour guide and the co-founder of a dance and wellness studio. They’ll share what it really takes to turn an idea into a business, find customers and keep going when things get challenging.

Ask & Share

This is an open conversation, not a one-way talk. Bring your questions, share your own experience, or simply listen and learn from others who are on a similar journey.

Business Connection Bingo

Meet people through a fun networking challenge designed to get conversations started. Your mission is to find people who can share an experience, answer a question, offer a skill or become a potential collaborator.

Stay & Network

Finish the evening with informal networking, new connections and plenty of time to exchange ideas, contacts and opportunities.

Open Entrance: Thanks to EU funding, we are able to make this event free and cover rent-related costs.

We have created an atmosphere rooted in openness, respect, and inclusion. We warmly welcome migrants and members of the local community to join us for an evening of cinema, conversation, and cultural exchange.
