2024 Camping + Weekend ticket - Borris House Festival of Writing and Ideas

Camping in your own tent is offered to those coming for weekend tickets only. We just don't have the infrastructure for single night stays, sorry about that.

The campsite location is on the grounds of Borris House, right in the heart of the festival, with access to a lavatory and running water (but NOT hot showers!), and a source of drinking water.

There will be a single source of mains electricity (a plug board) in the campsite for phone charging, so bring your own torchlight, and back-up battery-packs for phones etc. And please, whatever you do, don't leave your tent behind.

Camping Price is a supplement of €25 per person on the weekend ticket price of €245, and you must check in at box office on arrival in order to be sited. Campsite opens at 1.30pm Friday and closes 7.30pm Sunday. Your vehicles can be parked adjacent to, but not in. the campsite. No sleeping in vans or cars please.

Weekend Tickets holders will have access to approximately 80 talks or events across 6 stages over three days - covering debates, discussions, performances, lectures, interviews and readings.

It gives you access to absolutely everything in the programme, as well as the bars, food-makers, bookshop, workshops, and grounds of Borris House in which to take a stroll.

First names in the line-up will be announced by early December, and most of the rest by early March. Tickets generally sell out before the announcements, so you may feel it worthwile taking the plunge.

NOTE Refunds - with honest and emergency reasons only, will be given until 10th March. You will loose the booking fee that Eventbrite automatically takes, but get the rest back. After that, your money is ours.
