Lions Club Virtual Santa Dash. Winter Fuel Appeal

COLLECT YOUR MEDAL FROM SANTA @ MURTAGHS ASHBOURNE (12PM - 3PM)

A virtual SANTA DASH means you can join in at any time of the day, in any location, walking, running, cycling, dancing, skipping or jumping.

How does it work ?

We are asking you to join in with some festive fun on Saturday 4th December ,wherever you are. Our Santa Dash is 5 km but you can decide to walk/run/cycle/dance any distance from your house in your finest Santa attire. You could opt for a mile, push yourself for a half marathon or settle for something in between. Just get out there with your family and Santa Hats and have fun raising funds for those in need.

AND, All entrants receive a participants medal and a special visit to Santa Claus!

Please remember to adhere to the government Covid guidelines that are in place at the time to ensure our communities are kept safe.

It's been an incredibly challenging year and we are so disappointed to not be hosting our annual Santa Cycle in person. But we feel under the current conditions this is the safest way for everyone concerned and we hope we can all still spread a little festive cheer.

Please pick up your participants medals at Murtaghs between 12 PM @ 3PM Saturday December 4th.

We have several registration options for Family, Adults and Children.

Entrance €20 per family, €10 per Adult and €5 per child.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There is no minimum age for this event, but we ask that children are supervised by an adult during their walk/run/cycle

Is there minimum sponsorship for the event?

There is no minimum sponsorship, but we would ask that you purchase an appropriate entry ticket.

Do I have to do the Dash on the 4th December?

It would great if all of our Santas were in town on the 4th December so we can share your photos throughout the day. But you can run on any day you wish.

What's the refund policy?

All entry fees are non refundable. Should you be unable to participate in the event or wish to cancel your place, your entry fee will be treated as a donation and not refunded.
