Have you ever thought of becoming a carer for older children, but you&#x27;re not sure if it is right for you or your family? Maybe you have been thinking about becoming a carer, and would like to know more about it. Caring for an older child aged 16-18 could be the perfect fit for you.Come and join us our Virtual information events and we will explore with you:<ul><li>What is it like to provide care for an older child?</li><li>What do I need to become a Carer?</li><li>Listen to experienced carers talk about their journey </li></ul>We understand the decision to become a carer is a big one and we are here for you to guide you through and to ensure that this is right for you and your family. This workshop will ‘myth-bust’ around what is required to become a carer, including what happens during Assessments and Training - and how your skills can be developed to help you if you decide to become a carer. We will also talk with experienced carers about what it&#x27;s like to care for an older child, and you will have a unique opportunity to connect with these carers through this interactive event.
