The seminar aims to explore authentic and appropriate teaching, learning and assessment practice for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the Built Environment. It will focus on best practice in higher education and open discussions on CPD requirements and their development. The seminar aims to get discussions going on what people require from CPDs and to get down to what the issues are, and how to address them. National Forum Funding Stream: Teaching and Learning Enhancement Within and Across Disciplines.Target audience: International audience of built environment students, researchers, practitioners, and educators from the disciplines of engineering, architecture, building surveying and architectural technology, among others.Seminar speakers are keen to explore literacies, teaching and learning, assessments, metacognition, simple learning models, options for the mode of delivery, instructional design, and content of CPDs.
