Welcome to the Debs Festival 2021! Our first on-stage performances in almost two years, will take place on the 1st and 2nd of December.

**Proof of vaccination against Covid-19 required for all attendees**Hello everyone!MU Drama is thrilled to present our first on-stage performances since the start of the pandemic, and we are grateful to be able to welcome a small audience as well.This year's Debutantes Festival features 28 first-year actors in 5 plays, and will run on the 1st and 2nd of December. All 5 plays will be performed on both evenings:<ul><li>Take 2 - directed by Alexandra McKenna</li><li>Heroes - written and directed by Emma Grogan</li><li>Interviews with Loneliness - directed by Brona McCormack</li><li>And Once We Danced - adapted and directed by Hannah-Jane Ormrod-Gaffney</li><li>How (Not) to Get Rich - adapted and directed by Jule Loescher</li></ul>Our fantastic directors have been working with their casts for several weeks now and everyone is absolutely hyped to finally go on stage this week.On Wednesday evening, doors will open at 7:30pm and the shows will start at 8pm.On Thursday evening, doors will open at 6:30pm and the shows will start at 7pm.**COVID Guidelines**Every attendee will need to provide proof of vaccination upon arrival (a negative test result will not suffice).MU Drama and the Glenroyal Hotel will record all attendees' contact details and keep them for 28 days, in line with data protection guidelines, for the purpose of contact tracing.The audience will be sitting at cabaret-style tables, with 5 attendees at each table.
