Join To Be Irish for this exciting conversation with London-based Irish-Pakistani actor, writer and director Yasmine Akram.

<p>London-based Irish-Pakistani actor, writer and director Yasmine Akram’s acting credits include Sherlock and There She Goes. She launched her screenwriting career over a decade ago on the BBC Northern Ireland sketch show LOL. Her many BBC credits include Irish Micks and Legends for BBC Radio 4, which she co-wrote and starred in alongside Aisling Bea. Her play 10 Dates With Mad Mary was adapted for screen as A Date For Mad Mary in 2016. She has numerous TV and film projects in development, including a pilot based on her upbringing in Ireland called We, Khan for Sky.</p>
