The winner will be announced at the album launch.Against the backdrop of planetary chaos unprecedented in our time, Restive Nation persevered and landed at the release of their self titled debut album. They have now put together this unique collection of songs and accompanying videos to usher in the next chapter in their ever evolving journey.What we get is a melting pot of influences and ideas that come together magically to present a musical and lyrical multiversity of styles and atmospheres. Entertaining, thought provoking, intriguing and 5th dimensional would be appropriate descriptions for this collection. The album is divided up into 3 subsections - ’Insufficient Information’ leads us into tracks with an Electronic / Industrial feel, ’Bedtime Stories’ ushers in tales and characters from the Twilight Zone and ’Dyatlov Pass’ leads us into more metal tinged landscapes. Overall, this mosaic of sound and textures bring something for all tastes. Restive Nation have not only survived, they’ve excelled with this debut album.
