Begins at Molesworth GalleryWe are delighted to return to the RHA Friends’ Gallery Walking Tours again this time visiting two wonderful exhibitions in the Molesworth and Kevin Kavanagh Galleries.We will begin with an artist-led introduction to Oscar Fouz Lopez’s exhibition Light Catchers in the Molesworth Gallery where we will meet with Oscar, who will discuss his work and exhibition with the RHA Friends. The work of Oscar Fouz Lopez is informed by mythological stories and their synthesis of history, metaphors and philosophical teachings. Lopez&#x27;s paintings focus on the Hero archetype who endures personal challenges, serving as a metaphor for self improvement.<a href="https://molesworthgallery.com/artists/55-oscar-fouz-lopez/biography/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">More info on Lopez’s work here</a>From here we will walk to the Kevin Kavanagh Gallery and see the works of RHA Member Sinéad Ní Mhaonaigh ARHA in the exhibition Struchtúr for another artist-led tour. Sinead will meet with the RHA Friends and discuss her work. &quot;A Ní Mhaonaigh composition often references objects (vessel,boat, altar) and places (stage, playing field, racing track,stadium, mountain, platform) their presence more an echo orhint rather than as representational, figurative forms.
