This March we are celebrating International Women’s Day with a series of talks on influential women.Lady Gregory was one of the key characters of the Irish Literary Revival.A writer and editor, collector and publisher of the famous stories of Irish mythology and co-founder of the Abbey to produce and facilitate contemporary plays.She cared deeply about Ireland’s past, spirit and future. Fiercely interested in people, stories, and history.A very independent and proud, yet caring and empathetic woman, without whom the literary landscape of Ireland might look very different.In this talk we will look at the different facets of her life as a source of inspiration from this remarkable historical figure.
