Admission is free to the Sundays at Noon concert series.All donations and fees from this concert will go to the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.Olesya Zdorovetska - vocals , with special guests A set of arrangements of Ukrainian traditional music intertwined with contemporary poetry giving short contextual and historical introductions.Olesya Zdorovetska is a powerful and innovative voice in new music.As a solo performer and collaborator she crosses the fields of improvised, jazz, Afro-Caribbean, contemporary classical, traditional and experimental music, and regularly composes for film and theatre. Since moving to Dublin from her native Kyiv in 2011 Olesya has rapidly become a dynamic and active figure on the Irish music scene, with key projects including her curation of the Phonica series, quickly established as a beacon amongst new outward-looking platforms, and her work with Diatribe Records on the critically-acclaimed Haivka recording by Yurodny Ensemble.Other work and awards include a DEIS award for ‘Ceol na n-Uisci’ with The Water Project / Iarla ÓLionáird, an Independent Music Award (US) with Dislocados, multiple awards for ‘Remnants’ with Londonbased Erratica Theatre, Arts Council of England / PRS / MSBF awards for ‘Arvoles Lloran por Lluvia’ with Sefiroth Ensemble, an Asylum Arts award with Asya Gefter for the multimedia project ‘Fragments of Memory’, Arts Council of Ireland Music Bursary Award; European tours of ‘Telling Sounds’, ‘Niemandsland’ and ‘Dead Poets’ projects; ‘The Great Hunger’ at IMMA with the Abbey Theatre, Nick Roth’s opera ‘Xenia - Part II’ at the Bealtaine Festival, ‘Tundra’ for Emma Martin at the Dublin Dance Festival; solo performance at International Literature Festival Dublin, ‘Crann’ for three voices at IMRAM festival and International Medellin Poetry Festival, ‘Tin Soldier’ with Theatre Lovett, IMC ‘Piece by Piece’ and ‘Blind Date’ Series, performances with Satoko Fujii Big Orchestra (JP-UA), Yurodny Ensemble, Conor Guilfoyle’s Salsa Band, Kyiv Big Band, ‘The Docks’ and ‘Caminos’; composition and sound design for new poetic film by Olga Povoroznyk ‘Port De Born’ and scoring Dónal Foreman’s new feature film ‘The Cry of Granuaile’.Olesya is a founder of the Ukrainian-Irish Cultural Platform and co-curator with Christodoulos Makris of Phonica, a new music and poetry platform in Dublin.<a href="https://zdorovetska.com/ozm/index.asp" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">zdorovetska.com</a>
