EPIC joins with Ports, Past and Present for a wonderful week of events to celebrate Ireland's rich port heritage.

Join Ports, Past and Present and Five Lamps Arts for the official launch of the ‘Port Places’ app with this interactive walk and talk event. Explore the depth of history and heritage surrounding five active ferry ports on the Irish Sea: Dublin Port, Rosslare Harbour, Holyhead, Fishguard and Pembroke Dock. Drawing together walking tours, multimedia collections and stories, Port Places provides a range of themed experiences covering the ports, their local attractions, and the crossings between them in the Irish Sea. The app allows the user to download their choice of curated experiences, each providing a vision of port life, creativity, history and heritage. For Dublin, the initial offering will be Five Lamps Arts’ North Wall Campshires walk and the stories of the Dublin to Holyhead Crossing. Come and celebrate the development of this exciting new initiative, join us for an app walk and talk, following the Five Lamps Arts’ tour of the Dublin Docklands and learn how to use the app to uncover and navigate the rich heritage of the Dublin Port area.
