Are you interested in how the Government buys goods or services? Would you like to know if you could sell your goods or services to the Government? If you answer YES to either of these questions we are here to help you.
This introductory free lecture will cover the following topics - Public Procurement Model, Office of Government Procurement (OGP), rules governing public sector buyers, facilitating SME engagement in public procurement, current and upcoming opportunities and the national public procurement portal eTenders.
The speaker Jackie Byrne is a Key Account Manager in the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) and is responsible for supporting engagement between the OGP and a portfolio of public service buyers. As a Key Account Manager, Jackie contributes towards addressing the long term strategic issues facing the public procurement model. She encourages SMEs engagement and participation with the Model. Following on from this, Jackie is involved in GO-2-Tender programmes, Taking Care of Business Events and Meet The Buyer Events
