Pearse Street Library hosts a performance/reading by Esther Raquel Minsky of a text written by novelist and lecturer Denis Kehoe. It explores the lives of two Dublin women - artist and revolutionary Estella Solomons (1882 - 1968) and the author&#x27;s mother Mary Kehoe (1940 - 2019) - and the street that connects them, Great Brunswick Street/Pearse Street. Navigating topics such as art, rebellion, home, identity, motherhood, clothing, literature and the theatre, this personal response to the women and the street they shared draws upon research conducted at NIVAL at the National College of Art &amp; Design in Dublin and the Department of Manuscripts and Archives at Trinity College Dublin. The writings of Elizabeth Wilson, Georges Perec, Virginia Woolf, Lauren Elkin and Seumas O&#x27;Sullivan, amongst others, also act as able companions on a journey through space and time that is a meditation on female experiences of Dublin between the late nineteenth century and early decades of the twenty-first century.Additional InformationIN PERSON EVENT / Wheelchair Accessible (please book a Wheelchair Accessible Seating ticket) / Audio Loop System / 18+
