3rd level Students: Studying and ADHD

3rd level Students: Studying and ADHD

Online event
Monday, Apr 13, 2026 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm GMT+1
Overview

This talk is for anyone looking to redesign their approach to study leading up to the busy exam season!

Study often requires us to sit in one spot and pay attention for long periods, which doesn’t typically agree with the ADHD system. This talk will give you ideas on how to:

  • Get yourself to the desk and prepare your system for study
  • Better maintain your attention while studying
  • Recover after a period of study so you can begin again the next day

This talk will include a Q&A.

ABOUT AMY

Amy is a Senior Occupational Therapist working on one of the Adult ADHD Teams under the HSE National Clinical Programme since 2022. She brings to this talk some of the resources she uses to support her clients but more importantly, their ideas and strategies that have helped make study easier for them to complete.
