Dr Donal Ó Drisceoil's   illustrated lecture will examine  the role of the media in the Treaty split and subsequent civil war.

<p> The propaganda produced and censorship carried out by both sides in an attempt to rally public opinion and justify their respective actions will be explored in the context of Irish media and censorship history.</p><p>This is the second lecture of an eight lecture series: 'Civil War in Ireland: New Perspectives' which is collaboration between the NLI and the Atlas of the Irish Revolution editorial team, UCC</p>
