The Construction Industry Federations Southern Region is holding it&#x27;s annual South East Construct Conference on the 16th of November in the Brandon House Hotel New Ross, Co. Wexford.The conference will bring together company owners, senior sector leaders and policy-makers and will be an excellent opportunity to network with fellow construction stakeholders. CIF President, Frank Kelly will open the event.First Session - HousingThe first half of the event will be focused on Housing. Des Purcell of Purcell Properties will give a presentation on the housing markets in the South East. Showing where the demand is and for what type of units.Our Housing Panel will then discuss the key issues facing residential construction in the South East. Members of the Panel include:<ul><li>Anthony Neville: Chairperson of CIF South East Branch and Director of Anthony Neville Homes Ltd</li><li>Tom Enright: Chief Executive of Wexford County Council </li><li>Michael Raggett: Chairperson of the CIF Kilkenny Carlow branch and Director of Raggett Homes</li><li>Conor O&#x27;Connell: CIF Director of Housing, Planning &amp; Development</li><li>D﻿esmond M Purcell: Director, Purcell Properties</li></ul>Second Session – Project OpportunitiesOur second session will focus on project opportunities upcoming in the South East region.<ul><li>Tom Enright: (CEO Wexford County Council) Tom will present on some of the exciting construction projects that Wexford County Council are involved in </li><li>Mark Murray: (National Growth and Development Programme Manager - Asset Delivery, Irish Water) will give a presentation on Irish Water’s Capital Programme for the region over the next few years.</li><li>Glenn Carr: (Director, Commercial Business Units with Irish Rail) will give a presentation on the €200m worth of construction work that will take place in Rosslare Port in the coming years.</li><li>Freda Quinlan: (Head of Capital Programme Office, National Transport Authority) Freda will be discussing the many capital construction projects that the NTA will be procuring/building across the South East Region in the short and medium term.
