How did the legacy of the Irish Civil War shape Irish politics in the 1920s and 1930s?

How might the Irish State have developed in the absence of a Civil War? This lecture considers both the divisive impact of the Civil War, as well as the sometimes surprising ways in which pro-Treatyites and anti-Treatyites came to express discontent or disillusionment with the paths pursued by the mainstream parties from within their own political traditions during the inter-war years.Speaker: Professor Fearghal McGarry, QUBW﻿ith ISL Interpretation &amp; Live Captioning
