Science Week 2022 Festival Keynote LecturePlants: the planetary engineers that make life on Earth possibleWe are delighted to be joined by Professor Liam Dolan FRS from the Gregor Mendel Institute in Vienna, Austria to present our festival keynote lecture. Professor Dolan’s research uses genetics and fossils to understand how plants transformed from relatively simple algae to complex plants like trees around 450 million years ago and transformed the planet and its climate.
