Neill Lecture Theatre, Trinity Long Room HubJoin us for the broadcast of Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy&#x27;s live video address to third-level students in Ireland. This will be followed by an in-person discussion on democracy, EU support for Ukraine, and European values led by the German Ambassador to Ireland, Cord Meier-Klodt, and the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ireland, Filip Vurm.The event is one of the simultaneous satellite events being held in Higher Education Institutes across Ireland. It is open to all Trinity students and staff.We will join the proceedings via live stream from 12.45 pm, ahead of President Zelenskyy&#x27;s live video address at 1 pm. Our post-address will begin at approximately 1.50 pm and will not be live-streamed or recorded.The event is co-hosted by the Schuler Democracy Forum in the Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute and Trinity Research in Social Sciences (TRiSS) on behalf of the Embassy of Ukraine to Ireland.Special thanks to all the Trinity College staff and students, the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science in Ireland, and the Irish Universities Association for making the event possible.Please indicate if you have any access requirements, such as ISL/English interpreting, so that we can facilitate you in attending this event.
