This training programme focuses on helping migrant women, not active in employment, to choose their occupation and create a plan of action.

<h3>This FREE programme includes a DISCUSSION session.</h3>Our voluntary organisation starts the autumn session of training for migrants and refugees. The November programme of integration aims to help migrant women living in the Midlands Region to decide on future occupations (to start employment, self-employment or education), and to assist participants with creating a plan of action.One of the meetings, the &#x27;Support from Community&#x27; session, plans to involve the members of the local Irish community in discussions of local opportunities in education, employment and self-employment in the area, during which the Programme participants will have a chance to get advice and recommendations about job seeking, business opening or course/training taking from local residents.A strong friendship may be built during this meeting between two communities.The main benefit for participants is to have a chance to build the link, trust and friendly atmosphere between Irish and migrant/refugee communities. This communication/discussion sessionswill help better understand migrants, their needs and goals.We are looking for 10 Discussion-participants in Offaly among members of the local Irish Community. The tasks required from volunteers-Discussion participants are:<ul><li>to share their experience and knowledge</li><li>to give advice and recommendations on the topics of discussion.</li></ul>Tea/Coffee and cookies/ as well as Interpreter/translators to be provided.
