About this event

Cha, Chia, Tae, Tay, Tê, Tea is so much more than "makes everything better"! Tea drinking has many benefits but it can get you tipsy too.

The culture of Tea in Asia is an art form. In Taiwan, we are proud of our tea houses. Taiwan has processed tea since the early 1700s and it supplies about 30% of the world's Oolong tea. We look forward to tasting different tea with you to celebrate the 2023 lunar new year of the rabbit.

Tales of Tâi-uân tê is brought to you by the Taipei Representative Office in Ireland, the Overseas Community Affair Council, Taiwan Centre for Mandarin Learning in Ireland and Dublin School of Mandarin Chinese.

Organised by

We promote respect and understanding of Taiwanese and Irish cultures to improve social and economic relationships of both.
