To celebrate Lunar New Year, translators Liu Xun and Harry Clifton introduce The Crane, Selected Poems of contemporary Chinese poet Yau Noi

In 2022 Dedalus Press published The Crane: Selected Poems of Yau Noi, a Chinese poet based in Hong Kong. Translators Liu Xun and Harry Clifton read from this timely volume and discuss the challenges of translating poetry from the Chinese, as well as some of the solutions they found. This free event is presented as part of Dublin Lunar New Year 2023. Booking is by Evenbrite only and places are strictly limited.
