A series of drop-in talks, discussions and workshops for young artists and entrepreneurs. Speakers:Jacqui Devenney Reed Photographic Visual ArtistFor me my passion for photography goes back to falling in love with a photograph that was taken on a Polaroid camera my Dad had won when I was about 12 years of age at. I never knew that a career as a photographer would be possible then so my life’s journey took it a different course. In 2001 I returned to my home county Donegal and this has given me the opportunity now to peruse my passion in a county of outstanding natural beauty and countless charters to meet. After working in a gallery some years ago that flame for photography was rekindled and I returned to study, acquiring a B.A in Film Making and Photography. And now I expresses myself as Visual Artist using a variety of mediums including Photography, Film, Audio and Installation work in gallery spaces indoors or out. For me I find my work is intuitive I try to keep my intellect from interfering so that it is a natural process and the essence of something finds me. Working this way helps me celebrate the life I love and the beauty I know and have experienced, evoke a sense of wonder and mystery and give a feeling of looking at a hidden view of world we don&#x27;t normally see.Sinéad O’Donnell-CareySinéad O’Donnell-Carey is a theatre maker and production designer from Dublin, living in Donegal. She is currently directing and developing three plays about Irish women who have slipped through the cracks of society. Sinéad works with digital media, computer art and information art with performance as a way to integrate the past with the present. She is a champion for working with women and people from diverse and minority backgrounds, especially in the North West and is very grateful to be included in this much needed event.Bridget Birnet, Catherine McGagh, Maria Niloonan - Visual ArtistsCoy styles - Entrepreneurship and sustainability -Aoibhín is an experienced fashion clothing retailer having worked at different levels in the industry. Her love and interest in vintage clothing began long before that while she worked as a costume supervisor for Dark Daughter Productions. This experience greatly inspired Coy (Aoibhín) into exploring the unfolding interest and development of sustainable and vintage fashion in Ireland. Styling and fashion has its own art form and working on costumes showed her its importance in setting an atmosphere and aesthetic understanding which she transferred to styling her own vintage brand. She has a passion for styling clothes making them fashionable and trendy. She has developed creative and innovative skills into how to sell clothes maximising social media platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok and others. In 2021, Aoibhín set up Coy Vintage Clothing in the North West and has grown this new start up business to increasing levels of success gaining new customers both nationally and internationally. Michael Bonner - Oath Digital Media - Creative Digital Tool KitSherrie Scott Sherrie Scott is a Holistic Therapist and Soul Art Facilitator who also runs Meditation Sundays and Art and Well-being retreats at the Abbey Mill Ballyshannon. Her Creative force has refreshed her energy and vitality around the many corners of her life. Sherrie is inspired by colour, nature, the ebb and flow of the wild ocean and spontaneous creative expression.Róisín Mc Gagh. Journalist student More to be announced
