Local businesses provide employment and services as an important part of our community. The energy crisis is putting significant cost pressure on businesses. Budget measures can provide some breathing space, but it is vital for those businesses impacted by rising energy prices start looking for and planning energy reduction opportunities now.We are offering 1-to-1 clinics to help you start this process. The clinics will include: review of energy bills, discussion on your business energy opportunities, and sign-posting to appropriate supports e.g. SEAI energy audits, grants available.Places will be limited, so to make the most of the clinic please prepare as follows:•	Gather all your energy bills together, ideally for a full 12 months - electricity, oil, LPG, etc.•	Have your business details at hand, e.g. CRO number, VAT ID, Tax Clearance (TCAN)•	Bring a notepad and penIf you can&#x27;t make the time you have booked, please re-book and email mel.gavin@atu.ieMel Gavin is the Coordinator of the ATU Contract Research Unit (ATU CRU) providing a dedicated outreach Research &amp; Innovation support to regional enterprises, communities and individuals.Consultations are provided in partnership with Westport Chamber of Commerce – ‘Build Better Businesses’ Summit, February 16th 2023.
