Music Generation Longford is delighted to invite you to join our Easter Songwriting Programme. This programme will cover everything from song structure, lyric writing and putting your words to music. Attendees will gain experience by working alongside experienced musicians, Mark and Ross from Brave Giant, and Music Generation Longford’s Music Educators. The week will close with a supportive, open mic event where young musicians will get to perform their pieces. Music Generation Longford Easter Songwriting Programme:Running April 3rd - 6th 10am - 2pm. Monday to Wednesday will be in Longford College of Further Education in the old Army Barracks with access from the Battery Road entrance. On Thursday 6th students must come to BeWell yoga studio on the Athlone road, next to Shannonside at 10am. We will run the programme from BeWell on Thursday. We are hosting an open mic afternoon in BeWell for the musicians to perform their pieces to their parents from 2pm - 4pm on Thursday 6th. The open mic is free entry for parents. BeWell Unit 1C, Townparks, Mastertech, Co. Longford, N39 W5D7.Once you are registered on Eventbrite, come to Longford College of Further Education at 10am Monday, April 6th for the programme.
