The 5th Positive Now National Conference for People Living with HIV:


Where: The Royal Marine Hotel, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. (A five minute walk from Dun Laoghaire DART train station. The Car and Pedestrian entrance is directly beside Eason’s Bookstore).

Room: The Carlisle Suite

Time: 9:00am (registration). Conference begins at 09:30am and will end at approx. 4:00pm. Teas, coffees, and a light lunch will be served.

Parking is free to all conference attendees. Tickets must be validated at reception prior to exiting.

Please note: This conference is for people living with HIV only and will be noted as the ‘PN Network Conference’ within the hotel. A final agenda for the day will be sent to attendees in early January.

NB: There will be a social event for conference attendees the night before (Friday, January 26th) from 7:00pm – 10:00pm in the Laurel Private Bar within the hotel. Tea, coffee, and finger food will be provided, and drinks may be purchased at the bar. Volunteers will be at the entrance of the hotel to greet and orientate you to the room.

Topics: This year’s conference will include an update on HIV, a presentation on HIV and Ageing (for all ages), and an extended workshop on Love, Sexuality, Relationships, and Staying Positive. A full agenda will be issued in January '24.⁴

HIV and Ageing – Professor Jane O'Halloran, University College Dublin

Workshop: Dr Ray O’Neill, Dublin City University Psychotherapist, and Assistant Professor in Psychotherapy in DCU’s School of Nursing, Psychotherapy, and Community Health
